I finally finished a project. Nothing better than a pattern that only requires two pieces. This is from Adrienne Vittadini Summer 07 booklet. Knit with four balls of Rowan 4 Ply Cotton. It took a couple of tries to figure out the "holey" double yarn over pattern and tension. For the shoulder seams it is best to employ the short row three needle bind off. You want the seam to have some give so that it hangs over the shoulders, and the needle seaming made it too noticeable and and stiff.
It really works! I can't wait to try this with kalamata olives! Original recipe here
Finally finished Demi after starting it in September. Yorkshire Tweed is stiff and coarse to knit, but once I steamed/blocked the sweater is has gotten softer. I really like it!
Don't knit black during the winter months....
